This game clutched the 76ers a playoff spot in this year playoffs. The 76ers played great defense on McGrady limiting him to shots in overtime and the 4th quarter of the game. "We did a really poor job of executing and they came down and executed well and played great defense down the stretch, I think they had the mental toughness. They were more physical than we were down the stretch of the game and it showed," McGrady said. Tracy had a double double again this game with his 39 points and 10 rebounds. McGrady made 2 clutch free throws while Garnett missed one in the final seconds. Everyone should hope T-Mac gets MVP but Garnett is also a very worthy player who it would be nice to see win it also. T-Mac also finished the game having a double double with his 30 points and 10 assists. Jamal Mashburn of the Hornets had 40 points in the game! Tracy had the great scoring game but his defensive play with 6 seconds left is what won the game for the Magic. The final score was 110-104. Tracy was the games high scorer putting up 34 points for the Magic. That now makes 10 games straight he has scored 30+ points. This was the first ever road victory against the Magic in the Grizzlies' franchise! This was the first game Mike Miller had returned to Orlando since him being traded in February. Tracy only shot 1-10 after the half. This now makes the Magic 6-1 at home against the Grizzlies. That makes 8 straight games that he has put up 30+ points! The final score was the Magic beating the Cavs 109-85. Tracy was of course the games high scorer with his 39 points in 30 minutes of playing! McGrady had 23 of his points in the 3rd quarter! "I'm just in a great rhythm right now, playing at a high level, trying to maintain (that) for the rest of the season," said McGrady. Only one other Magic player broke 10+ points and that was point guard Darrell Armstrong. Tracy led the game in scoring with 36 points in only 38 minutes! This was McGrady's 7th game straight that he has scored 30+ points! T-Mac skipped practice yesterday due to the death of his high-school teammate and very close friend Eric Anderson who was shot to death in a fight behind McDonalds that got ugly. Officials say Anderson was just an innocent bystander of the whole thing. T-Mac was quoted saying "In the first quarter, (Anderson's death) was all I was thinking of, I was saying to myself, 'What am I doing out here?' Finally I realized I had a game to play. I was out there so I might as well go ahead and do my job, so I just went ahead and started playing and forgot about it." Miami Heat coach Pat Riley also complimented T-Mac after the game saying "I saw something in Tracy McGrady that I haven't seen in a player all year, he made everybody on his team better. Our game plan was to take him out of it, and he still got 36. The 18 points that Garrity and Giricek got, a lot of it was attributed to McGrady hitting guys with passes right on the numbers. He was amazing tonight." Orlando's next game is Friday March 21st against Cleveland.
