April 30th | Pistons Blow Magic Out
The
Magic looked like they didn't even belong in the playoffs tonight.
The Pistons beat the Magic 98-67! Richard Hamilton had a good game
putting up 24 points while 5 other Pistons scored over 10 points!
For the Magic Tracy had the most putting up 19 points while Giricek
had 12 and Gooden had 10. The rest of the Magic all scored less then
10 points. Ben Wallace had 21 rebounds for the Pistons tonight!

April 27th | Magic Beat Pistons, Lead Series 3-1
The
Magic beat the Pistons again and lead the series 3-1! McGrady was
the games high scorer with 27 points. The final score was the Magic
beating the Pistons 100-92. Gooden and Armstrong were great again
and put up 38 points altogether. After game 2 McGrady talked crap
about how his team is playing horribleand Armstrong and Gooden sure
seemed to step up and come out these past 2 games.
Game 5 will be in Detroit on Wednesday.

April 25th | Magic Beat Pistons, Lead Series 2-1
The
Magic had a good game and beat the Pistons today to take the lead
in the series 2-1.
The final score of the game was 89-80. Tracy McGrady was the games
high scorer with 29 points. Darrell Armstrong scored 20 points while
Drew Gooden put up 15 points for the Magic also. Gooden said after
the game "The last game was unacceptable, with Tracy scoring
46 and the rest of us scoring what we did."

The
Pistons tied the series up tonight against the Magic. They beat them
89-77! This
makes the series tied at 1-1. Tracy scored 46 of his teams 77 points!
Tracy broke the Magic playoff record he set last game of 43 points
tonight with 46 points. To Bad his teammates only scored 31 points
while shooting 11-42! Before the game Ben Wallace won Defensive Player
of the Year. Game 3 will be held in Orlando.

The
Orlando Magic beat the Detroit Pistons in the 1st game of there 1st
round series. McGrady had a great game putting up 43 points.
The games final score was the Magic 99-94. McGrady had 17 points in
the 4th quarter. McGrady insured the win scoring 4 free throws with
46.5 seconds left. Drew Gooden was very helpful putting up 18 points
and 14 rebounds. The Pistons who were the only team in the East to
win 50+ games had a 32 percent field goal percentage.

April 17th | Magic make Playoffs
Sorry
for the lack of updates. SPRING BREAK! Haven't been home much. Good
news is the Orlando Magic are in the playoffs. They will be facing
the Detroit Pistons in the 1st round!
The Pistons series vs. the Magic over the season was the Pistons winning
2-1. Tracy McGrady was 1st in Points Per Game this season and 2nd
in total points finishing with 2,407 while KB the winner had 2,461.

April 8th | Magic beat Raptors
Many
people were looking forward to this game since it would put Tracy
vs. Cousin Vince but that did not happen, Vince sat the game out.
The final score was the Magic winning 88-82. Tracy was the games high
scorer putting up 37 points during the game. Tracy had a 16 point
3rd quarter and had the fans chanting MVP as the quarter closed. Though
the Magic won they played a horrible 4th quarter. "We can't have
letdowns like that, especially at a time where this is a much-needed
win for us, It was disappointing because I thought I was going to
be able to sit out the whole game but let our guard down and had to
come in. A couple guys had to come in and save the day." McGrady
said. McGrady threw the ball off the board against Rafaer Alston and
caught it in air to throw it down during the game! "I told (teammate)
Chris Whitney that I felt like I was about to go, I told him I was
going to throw it off the glass, And I don't think he believed me.
And sure enough, the next possession, I got the opportunity to do
it, it was right there. It was a little dead in the TD Waterhouse
tonight, so I had to liven things up." McGrady said. No one on
the Raptors seemed to enjoy watching or being part of that play.

April 6th | Rockets Beat Magic
The
Houston Rockets gave the Magic a tough lost. The final score was 114-93!
Tracy was the games high scorer putting up 28 points. Only problem
was no one else helped him. Only one other player on the Magic had
over 10 points and that was Steven Hunter with 11 points! The Rockets
had 7 players score 10+ points with 2 of those players scoring over
20 poins! This is the 4th straight loss for the Magic. McGrady is
still having pain from the muscle strain in his ribs. "I felt
pretty good, At times I felt the pain, but I tried to block it out
and just go through it." McGrady
said.

April 1st | Orlanda Lose One To Spurs
The
San Antonio Spurs were to much for the Magic tonight. The Spurs beat
the Magic 118-105. Tracy was the games high scorer with 30 points.
Making it his 14th straight game of 30+ points. Tracy had a double
double with his 30 points and 10 rebounds. The Magic fell behind in
the 2nd quarter and were 10+ points behind the rest of the night.
They still haven't clenched a playoff birth yet for themselves. Tracy
left in the 4th quarter due to pain in his back but has 3 days rest
before going against the Dallas Mavericks.

Tracy
McGrady and Shaquille O'Neal were named the NBA's player of the months
for games played in March. McGrady averaged 36.5 points, 5.7 rebounds,
and 6.3 assists. The Magic went 10-5 in the month. During the month
McGrady was the teams high scorer for all 15 games. Top in rebounds
4 times and assists 12 times. |
